(Phnom Penh):  Following by pursuant to the Inter-Ministerial Prakas on Transitional Penal Procedures for Violations of the Law on Consumer Protection of the Directorate-General of C.C.F. discovered and punished 56 cases on business owners. It should also be noted that most of these offenses are related to dishonesty in business, including: Offenses related to fuel, the product labelling, and misleading advertisements.

It should be reminded that the Inter-Ministerial Prakas on the Transitional Penal Procedure for Violation of the Law on Consumer Protection was approved on June 3, 2021. Directorate-General giving one month to disseminate the instructions to all business and will be implemented from July 1, 2021.
