  1. International Halal Exhibition<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The International Halal Exhibition is organized twice per year. The purposes are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • To promote investment:
      • To exhibit new products and new market discoveries; and<\/li><\/ul>
        • To promote the value of Islamic products for the global market.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>
        • To globally integrate via art, sport, and culture; and<\/li>
        • To exhibit specialties on Islamic products of each country.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          2.World Halal Conference<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The Cambodian Halal Secretariat attended the 10th<\/sup> World Halal Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 4\u20135 April, 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The World Halal Conference (WHC) is an international leadership platform organized annually in order to bring together representatives from governments, investors, industrial traders in the Halal market, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders with the purpose of accelerating the growth of the Halal industry in the world. This conference offers interactive panel sessions featuring Halal sector pioneers and other stakeholders to debate challenges and opportunities about the Halal sector as well as scientific presentations and seminars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          3.ASEAN Working Group on Halal Food<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          In 2007, the Secretary General of the Cambodian Halal Secretariat attended the meeting on the Halal food sector in Singapore. (Afterward, officials from the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries also participated.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          4.Focal Person for Cambodian Halal Affairs <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The Ministry of Commerce appointed four officials as the focal persons for the Food, Agriculture and Forestry senior officials of ASEAN Economic Community Department. The four officials are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          1. Mr. Kit Pheara, the Secretary General of the Cambodian Halal Secretariat;<\/li>
          2. Oknha Sos Kamry, Chairman of the Highest Council for Islamic Religious Affairs of Cambodia and the President of Halal Cambodia;<\/li>
          3. Mr. Sin Sideth, the Vice-President of Halal Cambodia and the Director of the Laboratory Department; and<\/li>
          4. Mr. Ky Vibolbotra, the Department Director of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            5.Thailand Halal Assembly<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            The Thailand Halal Assembly is an exposition displaying a great variety of certified Halal products and services of Thailand in one location for interested participants, aiming to exhibit the advancement of the country\u2019s Halal Affairs in line with the Thailand National Strategy.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Within the guiding principles of \u201cSharia Certificate \u2013Halal Science Supports\u201d, Thailand\u2019s Halal products and services have received worldwide recognition. The Thailand Halal Assembly 2020, International Halal Science and Technology Conference (IHSATEC); The 13th<\/sup> Halal Science Industry and Business was held on 22 \u2013 23 December 2020. Halal Cambodia is a regular participant in the Thailand Halal Assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Local and Foreign Halal Exhibitions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Local Halal Exhibition: <\/strong>This was organized by foreign investors in cooperation with the Exhibition Affairs Department of the Ministry of Commerce\u200bwith foreign and local companies invited to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Foreign Halal Exhibition: <\/strong>Generally, this exhibition is organized twice per year in any country aiming at encouraging investors to promote Halal products in the general market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
